Those '52 'o4's are very rare. Probably more '53 o3's out there than '52 o4's, eh?

It's a '60 Chevy Biscayne
'59 had teardrop tail lights.
'60 Impala had 2 tail lights and a back up light or 3 tail lights.
The Biscayne had two tail lights.

I think.....

Dallas -

Right on - it's a 1960 Chevy Biscayne. Bottom of the line model that year. Bel Air had a sliver finish between the tail lights, Impalas had three lights. We had a '60 Bel Air wagon when I was a kid - 283 w/ slip 'n slide Powerglide. Not a cool car when you're 13!

FWIW & HTH. . .

:-)

RJ, I had a '59 hardtop and a '60 Impala Coupe. The coupe started live with a 6 hole oil burner, We stuffed a 348 with a Muncie M22 Rock Crusher in it.
The car was a real battle ship to navigate at high speed.
I later traded for a '61 Impala with no engine and a '61 Olds Starfire. The Starfire was a real hotrod. From the factory it would turn mid 12's in the quarter. With some tweaking we got it down to the mid 10's, but a 17 year old isn't usually known for having enough money to support those habits.
It got sold off to pay the fines and court costs when street racing in Salem, Or. Paul Lawry should remember those days outside Bob's 19¢ Hamburgers.
(Although they were probably 7¢ when he was there!)

Not true!
my little 110 horses deliver thru a Power-Slide
the 2 speeds are
"Run with traffic" and "Leave'em behind"
Funny thing abot PG's & Corvairs.....
almost every PG removed for a Corvair
will run flawlessly w/o service
I pulled one 3 months ago that had never been out of the original car....still had the 1965 factory seal on the T/C Snout...
45 years of trouble free service before it started to drip a bit.
I guess Ol Ralphie dint have all the fax.

Ah-hah. 1960 Chevy Biscayne!

Does that go with the bus? A two-for-one? Bo-Go?

Maybe I'll drop the guy a note and ask about that car..

If you know anyone that has a powerglide for sale I know a man that will buy them. He takes them and uses them in dragsters and they will take the pressure after re-doing them. I think he pay around 150-200 for them.
