Can anyone suggest a company that will produce a custom-sized shower base of Corian (or similar)? Need rectangular shape, around 24" x 36" with threshold on long side. Thanks! | ||

Ask at your local hardware store for a local fake marble manufacturer. We have one here in Kingman who makes moulded vanitys, worktops, etc. He should be able to make whatever you want. Peter. | ||

or check with a "tile man"...usually they have a base that can be adapted to any size...of course,it will have to be tiled....I bought a 36x48 fiberglass shower stall...wheeew...had to cut it 1/2 to get it in the bus...was only 1 hour job & it was fiberglassed back together... | ||

It kinda depends on where you are. Look in the phone book for a Certified Corian Fabricator (kitchen Cabinets, countertops or under plumbing) or go to the Corian website. The "cultured marble" depends on who is making the pan. Some outfits will not make true custom. | ||

I had mine made in Phoenix using cultured marble.I could have made it out of corian for a lot more money.This place I used had a floating form and they could put the drain anywhere you wanted. | ||

there is a company in Ellington, Ct. that makes custom shower bases out of synthetic marble. Their number is 1-860-872-8505. They also do vanity tops, counter tops, and wall surrounds. Syn-Mar is the company name, they have been in business for 25 years. |
