Hey Guys and Gals:
I have 80 Eagle. I have been having some electrical issues with gauges, etc not working correctly. Went through the electrical panel and cleaned connections and lubed with electronic grease. That corrected part, but still having a few issues. I think they are not grounded properly, as "moving" the wires around causes some action.

I think I will install a separate grounding bar(s) and run ground wires from each instrument to it. My question is, do I simply attach the grounding bar(s) to the bus frame, or do I need to run a wire to a dedicated ground lug in the electrical panel? Also, what size wire do I need to use to run the grounds?

Buddy not sure about the serial number on your Eagle but some 1980 05 and the 10 the panels were grounded through a relay on the ground bar

good luck
