Have been on other board for awhile and just started here recently:with help from BW. I'm rebuilding a 98 XLE Prevost salvage shell $1200 no drive train rear fire (Dallas knows bus well) have most of interior ruffed in -Bath and 1/2 and 3 slides.Have purchased a 60 series W/Eaton 10 spd autoshift. Total build to be in the $20,000 area. Bus had rear brake fire and some interior damage. ALWAYS learning and observing from others. Thanks for that! Bob | ||

You won't find a better group of Bus People at any URL so you are in GREAT company. . . Jump right in the deep end, there's plenty of people here to pull you out if you have a problem. You'll gets more points if you hang around and join the "conversation(s)" rather than just present problems for our Highly Esteem Panel of Experienced Experts Department HEPEED and then hide until you are in over your head again ....some people assume BNO is a Government Public Service on screen saver hold until an "emergency" is posted ....NOT TRUE..! Get to know us, we want to know you & about your Coach & Family, that way went we get together down the road we're old friends ....like the family we like to be! Now, that said with all due respect & sincerity ... I am expected to take this thread off the rails by a few friends here... so , as to not disappoint those precious few... (both of them) here it comes.... We have to tease, poke, razz, etc one another. Nobody in our families wants to hear about buses any more. And it's no fun to lay in the snow whether you are under a bus or not. (It gets quieter here when the weather gets warm.) Much better to grab a cup o'joe & see who's talkin today. Hey who wants thin skinned people around anyway? Anybody can "get a screwdriver under their siding". Give us a challenge! | ||

I have had the pleasure of meeting bob but don't hold that against him, he is a real nice guy. Does a great job with bus remodels. Jack you and Dallas are mean just mean.LOL I think I am going to miss not being at the round up at Cat and Dallas this year. | ||

Don, As an 'apprentice' bus nut... your RV doesn't count, it was never a real bus, LOLOLOLOL. There is nothing stopping you from hauling yourself over here and attending the spring fling... we prefer not to call it a roundup, more like a filing off of the rough edges. Besides, there may be a few companies working in the area you may want to speak with. | ||

planning: 15 degrees here yesterday--Minni split (3) ac units were delivered for project. May be for 50's we are suppose to get next week. Also when I find missing parts I just ask Dallas if he has them.Has told me which direction they went. Bought original rear diff with antilock brake sensors back!Will post questions in seperate topic. Bob | ||
