Any suggestions on how to block up an MC7 in preparation for reskinning, etc? Is it ok to block under the stainless body, using 6x6 cross beams to distribute the weight? Any suggestions appreciated.. Bob |

Hi Bob, When I raised my roof and reskinned my MC8, I blocked up the jackpoints while the bus was aired up. This way you dont have to worry about getting a flat tire. Then I blocked up the body after all air was out of the suspension near each corner and near the middle of each side. I blocked the body where there was some type of vertical member above, not in the area between verticals. Some say for just reskinning, you don't need to block it, but I would not risk it. You will undoubtly find some rotted bulkheads. Ted |
