I just bought 6 Dunlop 11R24.5's and the 16 ply was about the same price of the 14 ply.

If you are changing, you have a choice between the hi tred and the lo pro 24.5. Sure can help your gearing if you need some change, or something to avoid if you are dead on gearing.

dunlops, nice tires. i will be changing gears soon to my liking. i will also be buying good used tires and rims (pref alcoas) in january, if anyone has any they no longer need, fair price, no problem. if anyone knows of any available, i am looking... they have them at TSI near me but only the bare rims, and i don't want to mount unknown used tires to unknown used rims, rather get some decent ones, ya know? anyhow, if anyone knows of any, my email is allamerican.americanboy@verizon.net

hope you all are well my friends. all the best! bob

Changing tyre size may cost you a few Mph and a bit ogf MPG.
The rolling diameters vary , so look at the rev per mile at the Mfg. site for whichever tires your choosing, then visit Darises site & use the computer to see if you can live with the speed reductions.

Both tire sizes carry about the same load , but getting the coach weighed is only a few bucks and will allow you to MATCH the tires to your load.

Depending on the brand , some conversion coaches are frequently light enough that a more flexable lower load tire can be used.

The softer the side walls (matched to the load ) the finer the coach will ride and handle. And stop in the rain.

PS , Where are you located ? I would be delighted to go up in wheel size to get 3 or 4 more Mph at 1950 , my cruise RPM.

Have 2 or 3 year old matched rubber on some new HD wheels.
