Hey All,
Well I'm back from Bosnia and busy building new bumpers for the old Crown.Got a question.Saw a picture of a hotrod on a calendar, it had the purple I was looking for and it also had flames.Does anyone suppose I would get much grief from campgrounds if I had flames on the front of the coach?

Are you going to add white walls too? I want to see the lakes pipes,an fox tails on both antennas. NO flowers allowed. I think flames are a good idea.

I was thinking about ghost flames when I get to the paint stage, whatever year that may be. What I have done before is used a pearl that is the same color as the base paint, you can only see the flames when the light hits the paint just right. Pretty slick looking.

Oh, I do not know, me for one would think a flame job on a Crown Super Coach would be soosss cool.

I plan on putting mine on each side of the coach coming from the engine hatches.

Since the coach will be school bus yellow, light yellow and white, flames probably will...

...be red-green extending back to the rear 8 drivers. CROWNS FOREVER!!! :) :) :)

I've wondered about this myself. Shouldn't the flames come from the engine compartment? (Painted of course)
My old Clipper will have dual 5" chromed stacks sticking out of the top of the cargo room. I've toyed with the idea of installing flame throwers in those stacks. There's propane on board. A couple of Asco valves, some kind of igniter, and a switch. I'm pretty sure most camp grounds would be nervous about real 20 foot flames and the roar they make.

Come on Dogs, what the world really needs now is a GM Futureliner with a huge jet engine inside and a couple more strapped to the outside. Paint it any color you like. Light this one off at the start line at Bonneville and hang on. The view from up there would be quite a rush I think.

Yes, Plum Crazy was a Dodge color (Plymouth called it In-Violet). It was probably the best known of the hi-impact paint colors.

Two Dogs....Naw....weather is getting too cold for the water barrel strength test; along with all the rain. I am looking for some sort of heater to get me thru the winter. Twenty degrees inside the coach at night is a little cool. :) :)
