I thought I would share with you, my fellow BusNuts, my joys of owning a new Sprint SCP-8100 cell phone. I bought a data cable and some software ( SnapSync ) from FutureDial and plug it into my laptop. It hookup at 384kbps it’s not as fast as my broadband but still you gota love it. Here is the address for the software http://www.futuredial.com/FD_flash.htm and the phone it’s great too.

384K? Too Cool! where did you do the test? I usually use 2wire.com's bandwidth meter.

My buddy has the treo phone with Sprint, he get's 114K, according to 2wire.

Michael, I also own the 8100. It's made by Sanyo. It's also the only sprint picture phone that you can download the pictures over the datacable instead of their network (if you have snap media).
