Gary,

Thank you for this, we can't let him scrap it!
I haven't looked at the listing yet, but will do so as soon as I get this posted.
Thanks again,

Hi George,
That is kinda what I was thinking. I called him today and he is going to take a bunch of pictures of it and email them to me. He said the body is in excellent condition but the interior needs work. He has owned it for 20yrs and used it for his band. He said the only problem is it sat for a few years and the air bags won't air up. The tanks build pressure and hold good, but he is not sure why the bags won't air. I would really hate to see it go to scrap. Stories like this make me wonder how many are left and how many went to scrap.

Luvrbus is right!

It looks like all somebody did was spray blue paint on the windows.
The pictures don't enlarge, but it looks like two roof airs and a satellite?
Gary, please email me the pics when you get them, or I will call him also. Has anything been done to the inside, and does it still have its OTR AC?
I won't even mention wheels...

It sounded like he would lower his price. He just want's it off the ranch. George, I will email all the pics when I get them. He did say he took out the over the road air, but he still has all the pcs. He said he converted it to a Rv years ago and the interior needs updating. Also what do you think all the bay doors are worth? I might want to make him a offer on them. I have been trying to find a right rear engine door on the very rear of my bus with no luck.

Gary,

My engine doors were in poor shape also, along with a couple of bay doors.

On a trip back from Canada we stopped in Grant's Pass Oregon for dinner, and a guy walked up and said "MC6, one of a hundred, and since I can hear its a stick, one of 18 left with the V12."
When I got over the shock and we had a conversation, he turned out to work for a coach converter who had one in town. His boss was re-skinning his with Eagle skin, so we went back a month later and bought all his spare sheet metal.
That was 15 years ago, and after installing the best pieces, the rest went to scrap, as the leftovers weren't very good. This being a small world, I got grouched at in humor, as another 6 owner found out about the sheetmetal a month or so after I bought it, and when I met him he said "so you're the SOB that bought Darrel's stainless!"

Actually, I would make a whole new door, as the latch and hinges aren't very good, and we don't need a place for all those license plates.

Wow!! That is where they all went. Do you know if they are all running? Do they have parts ones for sale? I have been all over the net the last several months and only located about a dozen.

George did you get the pics I sent?

Gary
