Well a few of you have asked to be updated occasionally on the progress of the rally here in Arcadia, Florida. Today the weather was HOT. At the close of the day the rig count was 175 plus 10 motel guests and 3-4 bus folks from surrounding campgrounds plus about 75-100 just walk-in lookers. There were a lot of bargains to be had today as there was bus parts and conversion parts scattered throughout in front of the rigs. Saturday's Flea Market should provide even more. There are a few vendors selling everything from solar panels to Bussin 2004 gear. Sorry to rub it in but yes we are having a great time and hope next year to be able to see more of you here. That's it for now... Bill 340 |

We are here as vendors and also enjoying being with our bus nut friends. Sitting here tonight in our MCI 8 and listening to a bluegrass band playing next door. If you're not here, you're missing a great time. One downer to report, Jack Conrad's wife, Paula, began feeling lightheaded and had to be takeen to the hospital. They said it is a case of exhaustion and are keeping her overnight for observation. Both Jack and Paula, and all the volunteers, have really worked their tails off to make this rally a success, and it caught up with her, I'm afraid. Hopefully she will be released tomorrow and back having fun with us, but at a slower pace. |
