Hi Matt,
The MCI part# for the 4ea drive axle 12M-3-130
part# for front 4ea 12M-1-84
Also I have some interesting info on your bus. It is a story written by Dianna Woss and it covers Bill Kingston's build of your bus. I had a talk with Bruce Lantz and he sent me a bunch of info on the 6. I didn't realize it was your bus untill you sent me some pics.
If you don't have it, let me know and I'll email it to you.

Gary -

Matt's bus isn't by chance the former Allstate coach, is it?

I know Bill Kingston built the interior for John Mancebo when he owned it.

My bus was built by bill Kingston I'm not sure for who? However I know it was featured in I believe custom coach magazine and won coach of the year in 1985 in that publication . The vin is Alta 7853. If anyone has info on it that would be great. I do have a spec sheet for it from abc in Florida it looks like they were planning to build alot of these but I think this was the only one that was built?

RJ,
You must be talking about the Pink Panther. I have been trying all winter to find that bus. To the best of my knowlage it is someware in Texas. I've heard that the owner passed and it's no longer running. I also thought that was still a seated coach.

Matt's coach is defenatly not the Pink Panther. His has a large strip shaped as an arrow pointing forward and stacks on the rear. The story I have on Matt's is from July 1983 national bus trader.

Yes, I'm talking about the Pink Panther. I worked for John when he had Bill customize the seated interior, even got to take it on a couple of trips.

I'd heard it was in TX also, and that the 12V was fried by the guy who bought it from John's estate.

Here, for your viewing pleasure, is a photo I took of the PP back in it's glory days:

Wow! That pic looks like the bus just came out of the paint and polish shop. Looks like a million dollars! When did you take that pic?

Gary -

John Mancebo & Allstate Charter Lines hosted the late Bob Redden's "Bus Bash West" IIRC in either 1983 or 1984.

Both the Pink Panther and the MC-9 pic below were taken at that event. I've got more, but they're not scanned at the moment.

(Side note: This MC-9 is the very first 9 off the Pembina production line in 1979. Mancebo made a big deal about getting the first one. . .)
