I haven't seen these but they seem inviting for house batteries. If you decide to get them post what you think of them. Lots of us are looking or going to be looking for batteries |

Thanks Luvrbus for the heads up. The San Jose BBB doesn't have much nice to say either. Thanks for the link Jack How about "Batteries in a Flash" in Las Vegas. They have a good BBB rating and they are selling AGM's that are very popular in Australia. They are made in China. Here's another link http://www.batteriesinaflash.com/deep-cycle-lead-acid/6v/fullriver-group-gc2-6v-250ah-t-10 5-agm-sealed-lead-acid-battery |

Not making wakes on this but... The are certain LAWS of "Bus Physics" that cannot be broken. Inexpensive Batteries happens to be one of them. It's a real magic act to pull off, balancing your desires with your billfold is tricky at best. This is one o those times when learning to bite the bullet would be your best option. THAT SAID.... IF you are really industrious & deductive get in touch with SOMEONE who does the change-out's on Cell Tower Back-up Batteries. There is a LG car sized one that gets dumped @ 24 mos. they still hold a 13.5 v charge/90 amp hr./ screw term. MARATHON gel cells. New they are $450 ea. retail....... they service guy keeps them & gets $10-15 ea. scrap price... SO if you find him and if he has the right units offer him 25 a piece and smile like a bandit... mine are 5 yrs old & fresh as the day I stole them for $10 ea. ALL 10 of them..! |

No... I just happened to be in the right pace at the exact right moment, but you have more info now than I did when "the Miracle" happened. Cell towers are for the most part, are contractor serviced, jus keep your eyes open! |

... coming from a BusNut this sounds about normal !! It's a constant deal... you learn to stalk Cell Tower Contractors next thing it's big tire guys & before you know it you're saving some serious cash, ($300 = a pair of nearly new front tires w/Alcoa wheels that are as good as new) just don't settle for less than your goal, eyeball everything 110% to be sure it's right, tight & straight. The ONLY thing better than "exactly what you want" is if you found it for free or next to. It's all being thrown away out there somewhere, if they are dumb enough to toss it I figure SOMEBODY has to be smart enough to find it I make a serious effort at being that guy it pays off if you have patience or time to wait.... just KNOW what you need & always keep your eyes open! |

Teresa: Sounds like you have a very full social calendar But isn't this a bit reminiscent of the old joke about Wives and girlfriends.... May they never meet. You will want to keep the cell phone tower guys and road crew guys apart... Not to mention how your tire guy would feel about it all |
