Due to to business nessesities I had to leave my bus in storage in Arizona for a month. When I drove back to get it (from Illnois) John offered his place in Gallup to park and plug in ( the weather had turned bad). He went way out of his way to help and asked nothing in return.
If anyone is passing thru Gallup New Mexico I would suggest stopping by John's resturant (The Ranch Kitchen) and say Hi!
By the way He's working on a fine 4905!!!!! |

Yes I made it back to Jackson Miss. and am now happily working on the bus.
I have to tell you that the trip back was very cold ( no heat in the bus) we hit an ice storm and ice fog in oklahoma. but the bus ran like a champ. Just a little heat would have made it so much more fun..

Glad things worked out. I also recommend to all busnuts to stop at the Ranch Kitchen when pasing thru Gallup on I-40. It is just up the road on Rt. 66 at exit 16. Plenty of parking for a bus and you can turn around without unhitching the toad. Great food at the resturant and I am sure John and Desta would love to see your bus too!

Cullen, Yes I'm workin on my 05 a little south of Jackson , near Mendenhall. Maybe we could get together sometime and compair notes. Or just get a cup of coffee.
