Hello all. New to this board, good to be here.
I have a '74 Fishbowl w/6V71 and 2-speed auto trans. I have access to a fresh rebuild 6V92 w/Allison 3-speed auto trans. I'm considering swapping this setup into the Fishbowl.
Anyone care to comment on this dream (nightmare?): tips, advice, thoughts or otherwise.

Watch alighnment of driveshaft. Other problems could be overall gearing (VS 8-2 has much taller top gearing than V730), overheating (More HP = more heat). Do your homework.
