My Wife and I fought with many different ideas to solve this problem we, with stock windows, all share. This winter, with the help of Sun Pro in Yuma, Az. we found a solution. Solution is an understatement. We never expected it to make such an improvement in the appearance of our bus. Solar Screens really work! My Wife was standing inside near the front and felt the temperature drop instantly as the windshield cover was lifted into place. Now we can open and close windows that used to expand and stick when the sun beat down on them. We only remove the windshield, driver and door screen to travel. The rest stay on without any problem. We can stay comfortable as we travel, or when parked in the desert, and only run the front A/C. As a bonus, they even add to your privacy. Others can't see in during the day (don't forget to close curtains at night). And, I almost forgot, the real reason for this post, "they keep the bugs out." One thing I would like to mention addresses something most bus nuts give up on and think they have to live without, A SCREEN DOOR!!!! I have one, it works great and it was free! I think price is the next issue, check this out. Windshield, Driver and Door Solar Screens $100 All Side Windows $350 Wheel Skirts $100 3 Sided Awning Drapes $150 Screen Door NO CHARGE! They have patterns in their computer for most applications. By now I'm sure you must think I'm a Sales Rep. for Sun Pro. I am not! Just a very satisfied customer. If you contact them, tell them Roger the T-Shirt maker, referred them. You never can tell, they may need more custom photo shirts made. Sun Pro 800 789-5588 Send e-mail if you would like photos.
