We ran into the same problem with our Eagle. 50% water-bleach mix in pump-up garden sprayer killed the mold[use fan pointing out open window while spraying]We sprayed EVERYTHING, walls, ceiling, etc.The headaches went away after a few days. |

Sometimes folks have to lay up their coach in a science lab like Florida, where in the summer ,,,,,,,Anything Grows. One technique to prevent mould is to run a dehumidifier , but that takes loads of electric . The PANDA brand of Ozone generators drink little juice and there are even 12V units that could work off a solar setup. Simplest of all is a quart of Formaldahide , capped with layers of aluminum foil. Then a single pin hole is poked thru the cap. On return the interior will be fresh , no Mold BUT you MUST remove the formaldahide and air out the camper very well before occuping it. Have used this trick on lots of boats and its effective and cheap. Might work for you. FAST FRED |

Having been a biologist for several years I would much rather deal with a little bleach water every now and then rather than formaldahide which is carcinogenic as well as mutogenic if you happen to be of child bearing years. |

The formaldahide is ONLY in the coach when its laid up and not in use for months on end. A boat or coach left to rot with mildew will need a complete going over , not a clorox wash. The mildew can stain paint and eat varnish off the interior , ITS ALIVE !! and wants to eat & populate the world. Proper ventilation AFTER formaldahide is a great idea. FAST FRED |
