I bought the transmission from a fellow bus nut and am looking for some help getting it from Dunnellon, FL to Vancouver, WA. It is strapped to a pallet, forklift load and unload.

Would like it to arrive sometime in September or before.

Not looking for a freebie, will help pay for fuel.

We're getting ready for some upgrades to our Eagle and looking forward to getting down and dirty!

Guys, While I would love to do that I have one problem. The new to us 8v71 engine we are mating it to is in Oregon, with only 11,000 miles and built by a very reputable builder, it's a no brainer to do it all at once at our bus nut buddies shop in Vancouver. For the price we are getting it for I can afford to ship it commercially. Just thought I would throw it out there.

I'm just excited to be able to do the project!

Thanks Gomer and Jack!

If I can get it to Georgia, a bus buddy can pick it up and head west. He is a commercial hauler and doesn't get down to that area much.

It'll work out one way or another!

Paul, you need to let me know what is going on for Jakes I have a couple of sets and 3 different types of buffer switches I even a couple of the fast idle type Jefferson finally sent the the diodes and the rollers for those.
If I were you and I am not I would go ahead and buy a King unit and install it at the same time then come by the place and we will install your power steering then you will be uptown Lol

good luck

On King Cruise, is the proper model the 2500 RV?

Richard is supposed to get me a set of Jakes with high valve covers. I'll let you know if it doesn't work out.

Power steering is on the list after the engine/tranny/paint. Might be next year before I can afford the PS! lol

Gomer, I failed to mention it has been in triple digits for several weeks, so I am looking to cool down in the Great Pacific Northwest!

We are currently full timing in Georgetown, TX.

Thanks Steve, It's coming together!

Dates have changed to June of 2012. Plenty of time to find a way to get it up there. Even if it could be make it to Austin, that would help.

Shipping has been taken care of via Uship.com That was an experience, kinda like eBay. Hope it gets there OK.
