Roy If the S S is non maginetic Then it is A 3oo series Probely A 303 or 304???? I am very famulur with bar stock Is Sheet metal a different compesition I dont think so.. I hope this helps JIM

Jim, Are there any charisticts about the non maaginetic S.S. that would help me to know? Some of the S.S. on my door is begining to pit and rust. Can you tell me the best way to correct this? Thanks you for any advice. Roger

Roger There is condetions that SS will rust!!!!! Very severe salt condetions As for as polish. Your local parts store.(I cant think of the name of it) A round can 4in. od 3in. high it will be filled with what looks cotton. Just get you a small amount out and go to rubbing..The blacker the cotten gets the better it is. wont be easy. Lots of rubbing. Dont press real hard !!!!!!LOL Jim

Jim, how about never dull? In another life a long time ago I served as a USAF aircrew member and in our down time we polished the prop hubs, cowl flaps etc! In short it works but I still hate the crap! John L

John I met a man in NC was commeting how nice his chrome on his bus looked... He said he used a system of demert with his kids. To work off the demert they had to pollish chrome.LOL JIM

I have a friend who also rides a Harley RoadKing. He was going on a "Toys for Tots" run and his two young daughters wanted to shine up his bike. He was so proud of them and the job they did...just like Dad said..."if it's shiney, put this stuff on it and polish it". He left for the run and realized fairly quickly that the girls had done a fantastic job of polishing all three of his rotors.
