The new stents failed miserably and had to be replaced, that followed by a nasty bout with pneumonia has left me unable to do a quality job of picking on the various individuals on the board here, for that I apologize, but as nature heals what man has damaged, I will once again become as obnoxious as ever. I've been trying to track down the owners of a couple of bus conversions that I see go by and might well be local people, the shiney new or almost new prevo's are a pretty sight to see as they roll by every couple of days. Work on the anti-KOA has come seemly to an abrupt halt as I lounge around with no regard to all that needs to be done. We were treated to a visit by a large cat 2 nights ago at about 3AM when I woke up to hear the loud squaller of what could only be concidered a cat call, the next morning I found what looked to be a set of large cat tracks in a soft area along the edge of the yard, a call to the DNR reassured me that large cats don't exist here but they did make some plaster casts of the tracks of the nonexistant cougar, just my luck, get visited by a cougar and it turns out to be a four legged variety. I feel so much better tho just knowing that it doesn't exist. It appears that the miles of undisturbed lake shore have been discovered by a small group of deep pocketed retired people from the "big city" as a couple of very nice homes are going up and I think that explains the appearance of the prevo's. |

Did you ever think that the "Big Cat" may be a pet of one of those "Deep Pocketed Retired People" ??? Sorry to hear about your bad health, but keep fighting it. Obnoxious or not you would be missed on the forum... .. |

We've had strange animals running around here long before anyone could retire, the official stand of the DNR is that the last 'big cat' was shot over 100 years ago and that was the end of them even tho there are many places in the huron mountains that have never been explored, my health has always been good with occasional bouts of inconvience, kind of like my disposition lol. |

They had a couple of large cat sightings in CT recently and then one was killed and they think it is from colorado by testing its dna. |

Cougars were native to michigan up till the early 1900's when the last one was thought to have been shot and killed, the arguement now is that with the remoteness of many regions of the UP and the shyness of the cat it could be very possible for a small population to exist in the far reaches of the huron mountains or other wilderness areas, it would seem perfectly logical to me. Any confirmed sightings made now are passed off as captive animals that were released or escaped or wondering animals that came in from different parts of the country that would support a population, for some reason the DNR won't admit that it is possible that we still might have some native cats still around. |

Cody... if you get any better, there will no longer be a need for the 3 Stooges to post. Be a man, do the right thing, stay down. Give Dal, Gomer & Chromie the comfort of their well earned & historical positions... we don't want to be the ones responsible for them wandering in public...! |

Nothing I'd like better dallas but with 2 kids in medical school I have to even reuse toilet paper so I'm not sure the extra money is there, I looked over that set up for a work station you were talking about, I like it for the most part but you've seen what I carry, for me it isn't practical. |

I was gonna modify it so that the whole thing was able to be slid out and fold down legs with 4-6" wheels that would allow it to be put anywhere. I would also try to make it as modular as possible to make as many bench tools as possible fit. The photo I sent in the link was just the beginning. Then there is the sidewalls of the bays, you could hang a whole pile of tools there, making them accessible as well as sorted. |

Another trip to the doctors office and all that got done is they have decided to ram a fire booster hose up my south port and look for growths and foreign stuff that shouldn't be there, so that is scheduled for september 6th, I told the doctor that normally I wouldn't concider anything like that until at least the second date but he insists that it is long over due, my question is simple, because they have decided that nothing further can be done for my heart, why do they feel it is necessary to make me a perfect a-hole, the logic escapes me at times. |

He must have a boat or Mercedes payment due....You know, you can say no to them. Every time we moved and my wife got a new Dr. the first thing that they wanted to do was change her meds and run all kinds of tests on her that she had already had done 4-5 times. Even with insurance it was costing us a lot of money. I finally started telling them no and to look at her records to see what had been done and what was found out. |
