My little Siberian female, who I waited for my entire life, had a 27 word vocabulary. The one sentence she could say with astounding clarity was, "I wanna go for a ride" followed closely by... "I WANT IT NOW!!" The O.E.M. saw fit to bless us both with each other's company for 15 wonder filled years. She chewed gum, Clove & Blackjack, & when she finished she would place it between her water & food bowls & work on it again the next day. Client's dropping off their work for me were always astounded when she would saunter up to them for a pat on the head chewing gum..so casually ! I miss her every day of my life w/o her and she died in her sleep with a smile on her face. I can't wait to be with her again on the other side. (Message edited by Jack_fids on July 30, 2011) |

I'm sitting here looking at my dog, wondering where evolution failed her, the only thing she does well is eat, process the food and then send it out the other end, and that is done in between naps, one thing she does well tho is to create a 5 pound pile after a 2 pound meal, that in itself is quite remarkable I guess. |

We have 4 dogs and spend every weekend our band isn't playing driving rescue dogs across the state (Check out the documentary "Fifteen Legs"). When people ask me why so many dogs the answer always is "I like most dogs more than I like most people". Jack, I don't know if they all are going to make it but I know when I cross the river Jordon, I have a sheltie waiting for me there. John T |

We are presently down to 4 dogs. My motto is almost the same: "I like dogs better than most people". And if as some say, there are no dogs in heaven, then I"ll just sit on the bench outside the gate. With my dogs. Actually, I'm certain THEY will all make it, but lots of us, not so sure. |

What a good OT you guys have just helped me a whole lot. I have been sitting here with my dogs all over me, my wife with from two to four months more in the hospital. wondering why so many dogs. I haven't had a local friend or child check on either of us. BUT the dogs are here giving lots of love and affection and all they ask for is a little food and care. If there are not dogs up there some old foggies will be awfull lonesome. Good for them. Thanks again to the BUS NUTS for showing some sunlite in the day. Have a good safe day busnuts. Lary ry |
