Was my post titled "Batteries/Starter" unappropriate? Today, it's been removed. Why?

Hi Ed,

Batteries/Starter never made it to THE BOARD Ed, but I don't know exactly why.

There is an explanation as to why the site was down for a time today, though. Perhaps your message and the site outage were connected.

Please feel free to post again, Ed. And please accept my apology for the "hiccup".

Regarding the web site: It took a different turn than I expected, but (and this gets a little computer-ized) my ISP assigned new IP numbers to my "nameservers". Normally, they would have just propagated throughout the Internet without anyone noticing, but something tanked and left me and my 12 clients without web sites.

My ISP was right on it though and everything appears to be back in order, so it should be clear sailing now.

In a normal bricks & mortar operation, it's possible to schedule down time after hours. The beauty (and sometimes curse) of the Internet is that it has the capability of serving customers 24/7 and when maintenance happens, things can go wrong.

I apologize for the service interruption and any "alone" feelings anyone had to cope with without us :-)

Thanks for your patience and continued participation.

Regards,

Ian
