Old, beat up suede shoes can be restored to 'presentable' in a few simple steps...

[These instructions for MCI owners - others may vary]

1.) Use your coach normally

2.) After several days of use proceed to park and kill engine

3.) Open pass. engine access door behind tag

4.) Place one foot, ensconced by one of the shoes which is the restoration candidate, on the ground, approx two feet behind the tag

5.) Using a small adjustable wrench, quickly make a 90° turn to the valve on the air system which is labeled "Drain Daily"

6.) After the surprise has worn off, giggle and wipe excess gunk from said shoe with a paper towel

7.) Remove shoes before entering house (or not)

8.) Next morning, viola! Shoe will be magically restored to a lustrous sheen

9.) Repeat as needed with other foot/shoe combination.

I'll just say that's as close as I need to get to "Shock and Awe." :)

...and I needed a *lot* more than one paper towel, plus had to disguise the mess on the storage lot's nice pavement with leaves & such! :)
