Two Dogs where are you? 120 degrees? Up in the Pan Handle of Texas? Down here in East Texas it was a warm one also. Mid 90's and the humidity to go with it! J.L.Vickers Conroe,Texas |

Wow.Geoff!! Seven years is a long time, but then I guess one could work on a project of any kind for a lifetime. Just hope you are getting good "use" out of your coach. I thought my three years was stretching it a bit, and I still have a bunch to do, but it is "Useable"....having said that, it is not useable for the moment. Thought I'd take advantage of high fuel prices and do the front end inside. What a chore, but well worth it so far. I couldn't drive it if there was a fire or other emergency, but am plugging away at it day by day. New dash, console, switch banks, etc. Did away with a lot of old wiring, switches, and so on, but it is finally beginning to make sense. Shower and doors still to be done inside.....then it is to the exterior. Lets see.....four more years should get it...I hope RCB '64 Crown Supercoach (HWC) |

Yup, seven years in August. I've rebuilt almost everything in the bus, did all the body work, installed all the support systems and had to learn how to make cabinets. I have also spent a fortune, but I was looking at an RV magazine the other day and they wanted $25,000 down and a $1,000 a month for 20 years to finance a mid-entry diesel pusher. My conversion is a lot nicer than what they were selling, and it will last me 20 years unlike the stick and staples. I just hope I can still afford diesel when I retire. --Geoff '82 RTS CA |

no sir....wasn't me ....Georgia is pretty...wish I could afford diesel...it was hard for me last fall to go south....& diesel was 1.35.....got to find a rich 100 pounder...my motor home has TWO DOGS on the front...it's in the paper for sale...the destination sign on the bus will probably be TWO DOGS....when I get around to it...might have to wait & have a mexican paint one for me....fun to watch them paint....they don't use brushes....use torn pieces of cardboard &plastic bags...tin cans....really enjoy different perspectives of different races...I lived in Hawaii for three years...they also have a different language....lots harder for me to understand than mexican... |

Hi, bulldogie. I live in Vallejo (between SF and Sacramento on I-80). I don't have room for another bus, but if you want to camp in this area I can help you find a place. Thanks for your offer-- I'll be traveling the U.S. next year and who knows?-- I might stop by! --Geoff |
