Anyone in Denver? I am flying in to Denver to check out an MC5a to replace our wrecked bus this Saturday June 19. It is a Custom Coach conversion with two drop down bunks up front similar to our former coach. The bus has evidently been in storage for 5 years or so. I have a few questions: 1) What specific issues should I be concerned with for a bus sitting that long which was otherwise well maintained. 2) What specific maintenance measures should I take before hiking 2 Thousand miles home with the coach should I decide to buy it? The tires were supposedly new when put in storage and the engine rebuilt not long before that. 3) Is anyone in the Denver area interested to accompany me Saturday afternoon to help me check this rig out? If so please email me at mci5nvt@together.net or call me at home 802-525-4758 or (cell 802-279-0841). Thanks, Tim Formerly enjoying “MIA”, now looking for another MC5A http://members.tripod.com/timterhune/Tims_Bus_Pages/index.htm |

Tim, I am in the Denver area and would be glad to go with you to look at the bus. I will not pretend to be an expert, but I sure have a lot of experience with “opportunities” with my Eagle (grin). I will try to call you today to see how we can get together. Jim Shepherd Evergreen, CO ’85 Eagle 10 http://rvsafetysystems.com Bus Project details: http://www.rvsafetysystems.com/busproject.htm |
