What product is used to remove the residue from the original black tape MCI used? Can you re-side with one long piece of aluminum strip top and bottom each side or do you have to work in short pieces about 10 feet long? Do you have to press the siding into the adhesive and hold it for a period of time or simply support it from the bottom and roll the siding into the adhesive to insure good contact? I am considering the Sikaflex and would like to hear from anyone who has re-sided with it. I've raised the roof and removed all the siding on my unit.

I used SikaFlex quite a bit on a camper retrofit that my dad and I did. Stuff was amazing. Bonded nicely aluminium to aluminium.
