I want to thank everyone that came to our first convention, it was a giant success! 174 coaches in all. We could not have pulled this off without the help from all that volunteered to help prepare the food, serve the food, clean up after everyone and all of the other chores that needed to be done, everyone just pitched in and made it happen! I think that no one had believed me when I had mentioned that the food would not disapoint anyone. The Sat. night prime rib almost covered the plate and was at least one inch thick, a big thanks to Joe Melroy and his crew.
Next year will be the same date with many more exibitors, now that we can show them the numbers that we had this year. Another big thank you goes to International Bus and Parts for never doubting we could pull the numbers in to make their long trip worth it. So, with that said, look for good things to come next year.

All of this and no mention of Joe's performing dog Jack! Or am I getting old and losing my memory and Jack belongs to someone else.
In a more serious vein, I am certainly sorry that I no longer have a bus and was unable to attend the get together.
I have to say that of all the get togethers I have ever attended, those put together by the NW Bus Nuts were by far the best I have ever attended and the food prepared by Joe was simply outstanding.

Great job David, Dennis, Bob and Dick!

I met friends and made new ones, ate all the great food you provided, and spent lots of $ with the vendors, learned some new tricks. I am better off for having been to your rally, thanks for a job well done.

Drove home yesterday, covered 1000 miles in a day, just wasn't really needing to stop, so I just kept sitting there cruising. Thought I would avoid the LA traffic at the late hour, but no, after I was committed to keep drivng, there was that 2 hours to go 2 miles in the aftermath of a big rig accident. then I was tired with all the stop and go.

Thank you Dave, Dennis, Bob, Dick, and all the volunteers. A great premier event that I'm sure will be even better next year. I especially liked the "practical experience" approach of the seminars as opposed to a bunch of technical jargon.

H3Jim: Remind me not to travel w/u. I know, that big H3 is so comfy u felt like u were driving a Jaguar. Hell, I didn't leave 'til Monday 11am, then only went to Canyonville for the night (Marcia said we had money left so may as well stay @7Feathers and get rid of it)
