My thread got taken off, don't know why. I was not buying or selling. All I needed is info. I'll try it again. Is there a left hand DD 8-92 or 6-92
and will a 730 tranny fit those engines?

Hi Al,
I changed your subject to "Engine / transmission combinations", below, because your subject line was something like "Looking for input" or a similar non-searchable message.
I do this because this bulletin board's 34,671 messages are searchable using the "Keyword Search" option in the menu bar on the left side of this screen.

Yes, the 6-92 and 8-92 are both available in LH rotation. The 6-92 in 350hp trim and the 8-92 both exceed the Allison torque rating for the V730. That being said, there are many V730's out there working every day with those engines (including mine). With a light weight coach and a little sensible driving they work just fine.
