I have removed the door opening lever and arm at the upper hinge, and am left with the stub and the limiter which are held by a large bolt. The nut on the bottom comes off fine, but cannot drive this bolt up or out using a drift. There is an internal spring around this bolt and I'm wondering if it is interfering. Any experience with removing this? Michael |

Just a guess. Perhaps the bolt is threaded into the upper or lower part of the door hinge? Have you tried putting a wrench/socket on it? Jack |
