After the rally, couldn't wait for spare time to work on more tile so after a complete rebuild of the upper round steps I built a few years ago I got the tile cut and ready for stickum! Installing on a 45* angle takes time but glad ALL the major cutting is over with. A couple small pieces is all that's left then carpet, trim, buddy seat, seat belts and etc.! http://i1203.photobucket.com/albums/bb394/Goldbus/1f7442d0.jpg |

Ace, Looks good! Is that a standard stair edge cover or something else you found to use for this application? Cliff |

Cliff everything you see in the latest pics with the exception of the tile is just mocked together to see how it will look. As for the nosing trim, yes standard vinyl stair nosing. HD and Lowes only have it in black and brown. Our supply house in Tampa has different colors and I opted for beige! I didn't get anything done tonight since it was rainy and cool plus I got home late from work but maybe tomorrow I will! I DID acquire a very nice of carpet for our BR that will probably be the next thing on the list! Thanks! |

Thanks Bill! It could have been done a lot sooner but my regular job has really kept me busy Plus I used it to go to Arcadia but now that it's back home and if I keep chipping away at it, hopefully soon it WILL be done, unless of course I find something else I want to change or add! |

Ace Remember. It is never done till you hand the new owner the keys. Always something to change or add. I've had mine since 1984 and I just put brake stroke indicators on it. Also pulled the transmission to see how my home made overdrive is doing. Must be bored. Bill |

Ace Is that a pull out board for momma's feet under her seat? Can't have her complaining her legs have gone to sleep from dangling over the edge. How do you support the front of it? Bill |

Bill I saw in one of the previous pictures that Ace has been watching too many episodes of the Red Green show. For those dont know, it is the usage of copious amounts of duct tape in sometimes very creative ways |

Joe That stuff is great. Strong and sticks like s*** to a blanket. I don't think Ace would use it on his beautiful looking coach. At least not permanently. Bill |

LOL yea that roll was the roll that I had lost when I was installing the seat belts! Something had to hold them in since I lost the original bolts! |

With a little creativity it would be very simple to construct that foot platform using the grey stuff. Joe. |

Bill the platform is actually a piece of 3/4 plywood covered obviously with carpet and mounted to the sides of two drawer slides which are mounted to the seat frame. As for support? Not sure but it's pretty sturdy! I mean you could probably stand on it but it's not necessary. It's just a foot rest while traveling! It slides in when not in use and by placing a heel on it, it slides out when needed! She liked the easiness of it not to mention that it hides under the seat out of the way! |
