just acquired 1961 4106 and clutch is pretty much hammered from improper release finger adjustment. anybody tell me what size clutch and will a standard truck type fit or is it specific to the bus. 8v71 engine. |

Dave - Call Luke at US Coach 1-888-262-2434. He will have everything you need, all the CORRECT parts, priced reasonably, and will even UPS overnite if you want. Memorize his number - he's an invaluable resource to the busnut community!! If you haven't already, you should obtain a shop manual, the shop manual supplement and a parts book for your '06. In both manuals are specific instructions on properly adjusting the clutch and the "mousetrap" (clutch assist). (Did you know you have to start up front to do it correctly?) You can use a standard truck clutch. It is a dual disk setup. You just have to install the disc the proper way for left hand rotation. Been there and done it. |
