We have a allison 740 (in an 81 Eagle) with an electronic speedo. It apparently has a transmitter on it for the speedometer. I picked up a magnetic unit, and that isn't what I found on the tranny. It looks like it must be a gear driven unit that has a transmitter mounted in the top of it.
Talkin to the folks that were working on it, it sounds like it's the sending unit... (they said they couldn't find one)
Does this vague description sound at all familier to anybody? If so, where can I find the correct sender?
