Sam i am in faor of your thoughts..I hae the DD6/92 in my bus. I am not ready to start dooing mech. work as of yet. What i know about my bus enj. so far. leaks oil badly. Is the eng. burning oil or just leaking it??? in 1600 mi.lost 1 gal oil.???? sandy

I don't know... might introduce rust issues to the GMC. Remember, paint can cover up a host of issues.:-)

Both of the above Gus a lot of work behind the paint which the owner did most of, the cost wasn't much he is friend,every part was rebuilt even the 50D and starter that wasn't cheap lol

I know it must have been a pile even for the parts!!

I have one of those and appears to be in great shape except for a few oil leaks (Normal??) but I know it will be costly if it breaks!!

No oil leak is normal people just don't do the maintenance and up keep on the 2 stroke if kept up they don't leak

Jim,

That is probably not too bad. My 4107 uses none in about 2-3,000 miles but my 4104 uses a gal about every other day on a steady trip. However, it threw most of it whereas the 4107 leaks very little.

It all depends!!
