I HAVE A 4104,THE AIR CLEANERS HAVE BEEN CONVERTED
TO FRAM CA-3212 DRY ELEMENTS.I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE THEM TO K-N FILTERS TO ALLOW FOR MORE AIR FLOW.CAN ANY ONE HELP WITH A PHONE NUMBER OR SOURCE. THANKS |

K&N filters 800-858-3333 I contacted them on filters was told to go to my local parts store. That they could sell me filters cheaper at the parts stores.Check your local parts like napa .Good luck . Preacher. |

THANK YOU FOR THE HELP, I'VE TRIED THE LOCAL PARTS STORE,THEY TELL ME THERE IS NO CONVERSION,AND I HAVE SEEN THEM,THE MECHANIC TELLS ME THERE IS SOME RESTRICTION BUT DOESN'T

Are you running the 6-71? There should be plenty of air through a triple dry filter. The air compartment above the filters can accumulate an amazing amount of packed in dirt over the years. Was this upper manifold cleaned out when the dry filters were installed?
