I bought a used splendide a couple months ago. The previous owner had it in a travel trailer, and complained it moved the trailer around too much. He was upgrading to a stackable. I put it into a bay, and it was jumping all over the place. I knew it was not 100% level, but it was like watching popcorn pop. Reading the instruction manual, I noticed the requirement to remove 4 "transit" bolts. I assumed the previous owner had removed them, and plowed on. I finally decided to check to make sure these bolts were removed. To my utter amazement, they were still in. No wonder that fella's trailer was doing the mambo. I do feel bad that he lost alot of money because of 4 bolts. Well, hope this helps somebody else. Dug 75 MC8 Arcadia, Fl |

Did that with a jeep once, bought it at 25% of value because the owner said the engine needed rebuilding, two plug wires were turned around. I told him and he said a deal was a deal, so I kept it. Ray D |
