1980 Eagle Model 10. Where do you position the jack to jack up the tag axle? Also, is this a true tag axle? It doesn't look like the axle extends from wheel to wheel. Thanks

It is not a tag axle it is a bogie axle. It is located in front of the drive axle.

After reading through some posts, I now understand that. Where do you jack it up? Mine shows a small portion of axle extending from the wheel, then it stops.

I just use a 20 ton bottle jack placed directly under the axle spindel. I guess I'm calling it correctly. You have to crawl behind the tire to place the jack at that position.

I assume that is the correct place to jack? It looks like a 1 foot piece of axle and then stops. Correct?
