Can anyone tell me if I locate the fresh water tank under the bed in the back of the bus{over the motor} Are the removeable access panels now in the floor really necessary?? Once the tank with bed over are installed, there will no way to get to the top of the motor in this area. Is it important to leave these panels accessable?? Please advise. Thanks, Doug Woodin Bunnell, Fl. |

FWIW I would not want to hinder the accessibility to the top of the engine. Couple of reasons (1) on the 8V71 the air compressor is accessible only there. (2) Valves that turn off the flow of water to the defroster is accessible there also. At least that's the way it is on my 05. My 2 cents worth. Enjoying the journey in NC, Gene Lewis |

Doug, I would keep those access panels. They were put there for a reason. Can you use 2 smaller tanks and fit them in so as to still access those panels? If not, then find another place for the tank and use the under bed area for storeage of a different nature. Peter. |
