of the engine paint or were i can get some spray cans want to detail my engine but not sure what color it is i have am 1981 8v71 thanks |

Dana Dupli-color makes a color just for DD's in a spray can called engine enamel ceramic good for up to 500 degrees and says's it's "dyno HEAT tested". Color is: Detroit Diesel Alpine Green number DE1618 I got this at a local auto parts store off the shelf. Hope this helps Ace |

i wish i could get my 6-71 to stay clean long enough to justify repainting it. every trip it gets sooooo filthy. is this normal. i keep hearing that detroits are natural leakers but this is crazy. mclough |
