suggest you have somebody do it for you...it's ALOT more complicated than that..also,wires & a switch have to be hooked up to the footfeed...

you really dont want it on a toggle switch. someone wired mine to the engine shutdown switch and every time i need to use jake i have to hold toggle ,never mind trying to downshift at same time.

how can this be? you wire the jake switch so that it is powered from the shut off switch and this switch is a 2 position switch so that you have a hig- low jake system. you also have the switch that is controled by the clutch bedal on a manual tranny. these control the buffer switch on the govenor to control when the jake operates.

It is a automatic,I have diagram from pacbrake and am wondering if I can run power to buffer switch from back of bus and get up to toggle switch with wiring that is already in bus or if I will have to run two new wires in bus.
Thanks for any help.

I used the existing wiring in the bus. Try to pick a heavy gage wire

I used an existing wire from the rear to the front, and two existing wires from the front to the rear. The current draw is very low, so any existing wire would be large enough.

I also wired one bus using cube type relays mounted in the engine compartment. Need two, one for each bank of the Jakes. Then the buffer switch, the high-low toggle switch and the wires from front to rear only carry less than an amp to energize the cube relay. The relay then provides the power circuit to the Jakes.

Thanks to all that helped.I finaly got it using the wires in the bus.Now that I went thought it the wiring diagram was pretty clear.I just would compicate things by not understanding diagram.
But I notice that each challenge makes me understand things better.
Thanks leon
