This is one nice park/campground. WVA takes the up keep of all their state parks seriously. The access roads are a bit narrow and windey though and the spaces are tight, its a old place. They have a contempory style hotel and a lodge with cabins, so its a good location for meetups. There are two IIRC full service resturants and a cable ride down into the gorge, really cool. Horse trail rideing is available. The tent and RV camp spaces are seperated by a good distance which is nice, generators and A/C's running wont bug the aunaturel bunch. We liked it a lot and want to go back the next time we go through West (by god) Virginia. Mark |
