Fort Stevens State Park - pretty park, beach access (big park, need to walk a bit). President Lincoln established the Fort during the civil war. Fort Stevens was fired upon during WWII by Japanese sub I25. Interesting old gun batteries and mine casements to tour. Short distance off of US 101 near Astoria.
