The 7th cleanest lake in the usa. 110+ feet deep and sandy shallow beaches.
Very large swimming area.
A Big lake with 2 state parks. Both were very easy access for the bus. A gerat stoping point headed for the Big Mac bridge.
Not far off the eway is the North state park. On the other side is the south state park, worth the drive around for the sunset views. Both had a boat launch with places to leave your boat in the water while camped and 100`s and 100`s of shady camp sites. Typical of michigans nice camping. Very beautiful and recommended by the "Naturopath".
