Just returned home from a 4 day working adventure at a very fun bluegrass festival. Yes we took the H3 and everything worked great and ran just as well too! We dumped our questionable black tank for the first time and it too worked as planned. Didn't see any leaks or discoloration from all the crud that was standing in it since Jack's rally. LOL Anyway, were home now but just long enough to do the laundry, feed the cat (stays outdoors) wash the coach, check in on my 84 year old dad, re-load the coach and head back out in the afternoon on our way to Talledega for the race on Sunday. Anyone else from here going? We will be at the C&C campground. Look us up! Gold H3 Prevost (unfinished of course)
Oh yea, the neighbors here think we've suddenly retired but to finish the coach it looks like I will have to return to work next Tuesday, UGH! Something about being in the woods for 4 days and now off on the highway to the races in OUR coach, sleeping in OUR bed, eating out of a real refrigerator, instead of coolers really is starting to feel good, if you know what I mean! Can't wait until I can tell my job goodbye once and for all!
Oh well...
Have fun, stay safe and see ya when we return!

Bruce are you talking about my race web site or my bus web site? I'm always making NEW items for our race cars.
If it's the bus, then I'll have to email it to you since there are some that thought I was a board hog with my updates! Not too many new items anyway on the bus as of now except for appliances! Kitchen cabinets will start to go in middle of may and who knows what goes next!

Ace, when you are working hard on a conversion, you are entitled to post and a lot of people will use the information in their conversions. That's what the board is for, isn't it.

Monday evening and we jjust got home. All I can say is, our H3 ran flawlessly upo to Dega and back. Water temp stayed a constant 180, oil pressure stayed a constant 50lbs at about 1800 rpm and dropped to about 25lbs when at idle. Ran smooth, quiet and steady! We had a GREAT campground that I would recommend to anyone. It had water and 50 amp service which made it real convenient. C&C campground right next to the main gate at Talledega Speedway and after the bad early morning storm we had on Saturday it didn't turn out to be a mud hole like the others we saw when leaving. Races were great as usuall even though Marlin crashed out. We also acquired FREE Busch tickets due to the storm and those tickets seated us right next to the spotters. Talk about nose bleed section but you could really see the track good!
Anyway, were home and all went very well! Need to check out one small air problem but doesn't seem to be major! Will check it out after darkness turns into daylight! In other words after work! LOL

Thanks Niles! It felt just as good taking it for a run too! I still may have an air leak but after I check it out, I'll know more about why the compressor runs and cycles more often than normal!

If you go next year, get with me and I'll tell you more about what to see and where not to take your bus!
