Hi folks, I got a nice email from long-time BNO viewer Gene Lewis. He wanted me to pass along two photos which show a before and after view of his beautiful Eagle Model 05. His note provided a short but inspiring message to all converters that if you keep at it and don't give up, your coach project will eventually fulfil your dream. Gene writes, "These pictures might be inspirational to someone who is just starting or in the process of doing their conversion. There IS a light at the end of the tunnel - especially if your spouse, friends or acquaintances think you are nuts. I'm a firm believer in 'Dream It! Believe It! Achieve It!' Enjoying the journey in NC." Thanks for the great thoughts, Gene. Always a pleasure to hear from you, friend. Folks, we're finally getting some decent weather to work on the bus. If the winter months have gotten you down about that hunk of steel sitting in your back yard, please consider Gene's thoughts and his before and after pictures as proof positive that your project will some day take you on your journey. Awesome transformation. Now where's the "after" pic of Gene. Is he still in shape to drive it after all his hard work? Let's see: bad back, ruined knees, no knuckles to speak of... he he. Happy trails, Gene! Enjoy her. Thanks for sharing, BB |

Especially encouraging to me since my project is also an Eagle 5. I relate... Friends and acquaintances laughed at me too. After watching the outcome so far, they are now wanting a bus of their own. Lookin' good Gene! |

A beginning BusNut friend of mine (who caught the fever from ME) just bought an Eagle and I will sure give him this message of hope and inspiration! Thanks! |
