i have an mci-3 6v-71 with n-70 injectors.are these injectors to large? could this be part of my overheating problem?what is the normal injector for the 6v-71 motorcoach?thanks tony mci-3 |

AS I understand it the n 55 and n 60 are normal for these engines. With advanced timing {big teardown job} N-65 are used. Da Book should be your best guide, but remember to use the specs for your year engine. Is this a turbo engine? , that would explain big injectors . More air can cleanly burn more fuel. FAST FRED |

the tag on the valve cover says standard cam timing.the engine is non turbo.thanks. tony mci-3 |

Fred is right on with sizes. I ran 75's in my 6-71 4 valve with a little smoke on a hard pull but no heat problems. Jim Stacy |
