Has anyone used spray foam insulation in your bus? Would you recommend it? If so, is there one product better than another?

On the LH side of the BBS page, under the heading "Utilities", is the search link.

Type in "spray foam" and see what comes up.

OR: Yes it's been done; most folk think it does the best job; it's not the least expensive, but is the most effective; have a professional do the work; check with a refrigerated truck trailer facility to find out who spray foams their repairs; certain formulas are flammable; all give off toxic fumes when they burn; it's money well spent; do as much prep work first, before having it sprayed; don't bury wiring in the walls where the foam's gonna go.

There you have it, the Cliff's Notes version of the Reader's Digest version answer to your question.

Great answer RJ. I vote FOR spray foam. I also vote for RJ as helpful man of the year.

Not on my watch. . .

I'd prefer my ex compared to her! :-)

Thanks for the kind words, guys. It's appreciated.

I also agree. It is a pity that more of the posters do not follow RJ's example instead of the prejudiced views or misinformation that many post.
Speaking of which, haven't heard anything from 2D for awhile. Maybe he is deeply involved in the fan project.

Look at gumpydog.com, Craig has another method that may work for you concerning foam insulation.

As for 2D, he is in something deep, that's for sure. I hope all of the BS doesn't get in the way of his field test or plug up his radiator. ;-)

Looking forward to hearing the results,

Don't bury the plumbing in it either, or anything else you may
ever want to move, remove, or repair.
