New to group here, have a converted MC 7 where the original oil bath air filters have been replaced with dry foam canisters, I would like to replace these 4 foam filters with K&N filters. The specs are 9 inches long, 4 inches ID, and 6 inches OD, cylindrical in shape. Does anyone have a K & N part number for the filter. I called K & N but they were of no help. Thanks in advance. Happy Bussin...Peter |

All I can add is that I just bought 4 cannister filters for my MC7 - I think the same size from NAPA - about $20 each. You may want to check with them. I don't know if they are K & N or not, but were the same type the bus had on it when I bought it 5 years ago and replaced them at that time. When the bus starts blowing out black smoke as you push on the throttle, it's usually dirty filters. |

K&N has a website with the sizes listed by dimension. If you get a number for a paper unit that fits thats even easier to cross reference. If your going to dirt road land , the K&N are tops as they can easily be cleaned and reoiled ANYPLACE , in an hour or so. Works for me,NO silica in the oil sampled, and lots of dirt road miles .
