Big lots has the same flooring I put down in my bus for about .99 cents a square foot. I bought mine at lowes for 1.39 and it is the same thing and I love it. in my oppininion carpet in a bus is just a hasle. hard to clean all the nooks and crannys and since there is only one pathe in and out it wears quickly. I voat for the floating laminate floor, but thats just my opinion |

Other options: Ceramic Tile, easier to clean and very stain resistant but adds more weight to coach. Wood flooring, looks good, but will scratch. Vinyl flooring, easy to clean, shows wear. Laminate, wears well, does not like water. If you put carpet in with glue, it will be very difficult to replace it when it becomes stained and worn. If the carpet is stretched over nail strips, it is easier to replace. Jack |

I agree with Jack, and some throw rugs over the pathways gives a very luxurious feel. They can easily be thrown in the washer when they get dirty or stained. Richard |

I have laminate (Formica Flooring) in my RTS, from the front steps to the rear bedroom, with throw rugs in the appropriate places. It is wonderfull stuff, and virtually waterproof. The older laminate flooring was not water resistant, but the stuff you get these days has a resin in the wood. --Geoff '82 RTS CA |

For there are No Skid Linoleum products , I have seen on boats. It wears like iron , even with mud and sand ground in and washes up in a snap. Throw rugs are grand , but if it's for a winter operation the bathroom carpeting does better as its Washable (in a BIG! machine) . I have seen epoxy "stone" paint from HD that does well too, but its thin, so can't do with much tracked mud. FAST FRED |
