I have 2 deep cycly batteries directly under the main coach batteries. I have a solar panal for them but I was wondering if I can run the 2 aux batteries parallel with the main coach batteries to charge then while driving..then disconect them when I land.. this is all before I go totally solar..but with all the crappy weather i cant work..so no cash for the panals.. will this work? pete |

Hi Pete, Exactly what Frank said. We have been using stock automotive solenoids for years at work on truck inverter batteries and have only experienced a few that burned out. The nice thing is if the start batteries get low you can jump the solenoid and backfeed from your auxillary batteries to start the coach. Ain't life great Cliff |

NAPA and other auto parts stores have (or can order) "continuous duty" solenoids. Wound with larger wire and having larger contact faces, they will operate at 100% rating (and above) almost indefinitely. ...JJ |

When controlled RV style by the ACC position of an auto style key switch , the system becomes seamless , no thinking , as done for most RV's. KISS FAST FRED |
