When I checked on that "shell" about 4 years ago, as I recall, they started at about $110K +-.......(more like John Madden's league than mine. FWIW RCB '4 Crown Supercoach (HWC) |

Geoff's number is much closer. I've seen a brand new Prevo shell new, bare ribs inside, gorgeous on the outside. Was told it was $300K+ right from the factory. Sure was strange and fun to look at something that looks just like ours after stripping, but sparkly clean everywhere! |

Well, Jeff,,,,,I got a quote and that is approximately what it was at that time....as I said 4 years ago +- on both time and price. Telephone "ballark figures" for a shell....no frills on the inside, just frame and exterior paneling...front window, drivers and opposite driver windows only....matter of fact, as I think about it, they started in the mid 80's and went up to an average of about $110 +-, depending on what one wanted. Bluebirds were about the same as I recall. At the time, they had plenty of mid to late 80 MCI's available, mileage around the 1,5 to 2.0 million, for $12-16,000. I paid less than a third of that for mine and am well pleased....not from the quoter, of course. Might be able to confirm that if you wish. (2000-2001 pricing, I am talking about). I'll send the name of the person and his affiliation, if you would like. FWIW RCB '64 Crown Supercoach (HWC) |

I heard that the Prevost shells were in the $355k frame. If you want slides add another $50K or more from the factory. |

'94 DL3, as a conversion ready shell, equipped w/5 windows, was $235k. No slides, just a ready shell equipped to order, 11 yrs. ago, direct from the factory. S60, B500, 5 windows. I doubt that 300k would get u one and it certainly would not have slides. |
