Any ideas on how to clean out a half full bus toilet (Eagle 05). David says he thinks it's an incinerator type toilet and he doesn't see any way to drain it. He says the stuff looks kind of solid in there. And it's stinky. Lorna |

hi Dave and Lorna,if you are going to do this kind of a plumbing job there are three things to remember. 1 it runs down hill, 2 payday is Friday, 3 never lick your fingers. |

Use caution, and a good particle mask if you decide to remove the debris dry. Try adding water and TST tank deodorant/soap. (available at Wal-Mart among others). Then you can pump, ladle, and swab, (with your gloved hands) to your little hearts content. Make a soft rubber hose extension for your shop vac, to get the worst. If all else fails, I think the BATF is still issuing limited explosive permits. Dynamite can be had from most strip mines, or thermite grenades from your local Army/Navy Store. HTH,and Cheers...JJ |

I think JJ is on to an idea. . . Drive it to an open field, don a hazmat suit, drop TNT down the hatch and run like hell. Come back in one week and repair hole in floor of bus. Seriously though, do septic system repair services have big pumps? Maybe they could remove the worst of it for you. I am picturing the trucks that clear storm drains before winter or something like that. . . |

Don't know about your place but around here there is lots of construction sites and they all have "little green houses". The 'honey wagon' comes around at least once a week to pump these things out and I'm sure a few bucks would get your mess taken care of in a hurry. I think you might want to put some water into it ahead of time to loosen things up and let the pump do its job. Good luck, Hal |
